I’m sure that we’re never gonna run out of bonding-worthy places to go to, but have you heard of this glow-in-the-dark spot that is a first in the Philippines?
Pat’s Putts is dubbed as the country’s first indoor mini golf course which opened its doors last 2022. They first made noise in Tiendesitas, before eventually opening another branch to cater to the Southies in Ayala Malls Manila Bay. I heard they recently opened a third branch in Cebu! Think glow-in-the-dark, chill, yet playful! That’s the overall vibe of Pat’s Putts.

It is a pretty decent hangout spot with friends for when you find yourselves having a hard time decoding where “kahit saan” is (which happens more often that we admit).
As for our visit – it was more of a spontaneous decision as we had nowhere else to go after dinner. It was around 9 pm at the time, and we saw that Pat’s Putts in Tiendesitas was open until midnight. You don’t even need to make a reservation, so that’s cool 😀

You’ll be greeted by friendly staff as soon as you enter Pat’s Putts. Before anything else, you need to settle the payment! The regular rate is P599, while those under 4ft have a rate of P399. This includes a 2-hour equipment rental (putter and ball), access to the 27-hole course, and all-day access to the game room and restaurant.

If you don’t want to play indoor mini-golf, you only need to pay P100 to access the game room and diner. It’s not all bad because it looks equally fun. We even debated just hanging out in that game room at first (it’s an open area). However, that’s not really what we came here for. Once bills were exchanged, we quickly chose our putter and got the scorecards. FYI, we were too lazy to use the sheets haha
The course features 27 holes that only get more fun and chaotic throughout your gameplay
It’s my first time visiting an indoor golf course. I don’t really have a benchmark but I just thought the area would be larger 😀 I still found the space decent enough so I don’t have any major complaints.
BACK TO THE GAME – Don’t let the quirky appearances of the holes fool you! You need more time for the tricky bits. The first few holes were fairly easy, but you’ll find it challenging soon enough. I also had to find out the tiring way that this is a sweat-inducing pastime.

The time limit for the mini-golf is 2 hours, but you can actually complete it in less than an hour. After that, you can repeat the course as many times as you like (target the holes that gave you a hard time!), rest, or pose for photos!

Once the 2-hour golf time is over, you’ll still be able to chill or play in the game room! They have giant jenga, board games, and even a subsoccer! My sister and I had the best time playing subsoccer.

Overall, I think this activity makes for a good experience (not something you’d do on a regular basis, though). We just wanted to try it and I’m glad we did. 🙂
