What It’s Like: #Paskotitap2017

If you’re a Pasigueรฑo, you’ve probably heard of “Paskotitap.” That’s because it’s one of the most awaited events every December, which treats its audience to a delightful, and creative exhibition of different floats!

I think the last time I was able to watch #Paskotitap was way back 2015! So I had to unleash my inner kid (maybe inner tita) and wait on the side of the road to see the Christmas floats. Good thing I found a pretty decent spot where I can see it clearly.

So of course, the Pasig leaders, including Mayor Eusebio, and some other counselors and barangay officials, led the exhibition. They were there to celebrate with us, doing the usual tradition for every event, if I may say. Walking and greeting the people, taking pics with the kids, PR stuff, more smiles…! They donned red outfits which was nice cos #ChristmasSpirit.

Fast forward. After all the officials have made their way down the road, it was time for the copycat Santa on a sleigh to throw away some treats and sweets to the kids! (I wasn’t able to catch one.) Motorcycle convoys and fifty dolled up people later, the glowing #Paskotitap sign came into view, got paraded, just letting people know that the exhibition is finally HERE!

Wasn’t able to identify the themes of the other floats! I swear, I tried to google it, but to no avail. Hehe if you can enlighten me with the movie/character, then please do so ๐Ÿ™‚

I personally like the 2015 Paskotitap more than this year’s Paskotitap… but hey, that’s just what I think. Nevertheless, these are still creative & beautiful floats.
